Hyderabad: Upset with her parents fixing her marriage with a close relative while she still wanted to continue studies, a 20-year-old nursing aspirant committed suicide in Bachupally. Police said that Sambari Rajasree hanged herself at her home on Saturday night. According to Police, the girl completed a vocational course in nursing and was planning to pursue BSc Nursing when her parents, in their late 60s, fixed her marriage. She told them that she will marry after completing her studies but her parents insisted that she can continue studies after the marriage.

Rajasree tried to speak to her elder sister Divyasree about the issue but things did not change as her sister could not do much for her. On Saturday evening, when her parents who are vegetable vendors, went to the vegetable market, the girl hanged hanging from the ceiling fan.

“Nothing suspicious was found and she did not leave a suicide note. We are analysing her Call Data Records for any clues. Based on that we will proceed.” said Bachupally SI G. Ramesh. Based on a complaint from her father Uppalaiah, a suspicious death case is registered and the body was handed over to the family.
