Biker Dies in a Road Mishap in Nalgonda

HYDERABAD: A 37-year-old man, who was on his way to a temple, died on the spot after a speeding truck hit the bike he was riding at Yerravaram village of Kodad mandal in Nalgonda district on Thursday.

The deceased was identified as P. Srinu from Ganapavaram village.

“After planning to visit the Mutyalamma temple to attend a festival, the family members took an autorickwhaw while Srinu went on his bike,” police said.
When the bike reached Yerravaram, a speeding truck hit the bike killing him on the spot. A passerby noticed the mishap and informed the medical emergency service staff. They shifted Srinu to a nearby hospital where doctors declared him dead.
Police registered a case against the truck driver and shifted the body to the government hospital for post-mortem.
