Telangana: Teacher's body dumped on two-wheeler

Police said Srinivas came out of his house in Waddepalli on a bike along with his brother's children to buy curds at around 8:30 pm.

Police booked a case under Section 304A (death through negligence) and 337 of IPC and arrested Uday Kumar.

Warangal: A private school teacher, Varikoti Srinivas, 40, was found dead on a parked motorcycle in Indiranagar on the Waddepalli 100 feet road on Friday night. 

Police said Srinivas came out of his house in Waddepalli on a bike along with his brother's children to buy curds at around 8:30 pm. Then two persons asked him to accompany them. He asked the children to go and left on the bike along with the two. 

Srinivas did not return and the family approached Subedari police. The police said they had found a body near Waddepalli and took them there. They confirmed that it was Srinivas. Injuries were found on Srinivas's face and head. His toes were bleeding.

The police is investigating to find out if the relationship he had with a local woman was the reason behind his death. Police said Srinivas was not on good terms with his wife Renuka. He had recently filed for divorce from wife Renuka. The family also raised suspicions about two persons, Anil and Shiva, with whom Srinivas had a brawl earlier. The police said they are investigating all possible angles.
