Hyderabad: A farmer, Paramesh of Shadnagar in Ranga Reddy district, approached the State Human Rights Commission (HRC), requesting it to take action against Tollywood film producer Bandla Ganesh for allegedly encroaching on his land.

The farmer said that 11 acres of his land in Survey No.s 208 and 209 were sold to Ganesh’s family in 1985. Parmesh’s family was staying in a small house on his two-acre land; its ownership was confimed in a survey done in 2015.

Parmesh claimed that apart from misappropriating his land, Ganesh and his relatives had taken a bank loan on it by creating forged documents.

“The producer and his henchmen threatened me and my family members with dire consequences if we reported the matter to the police,” Parmesh said. “Even the local police are supporting the producer.”
