Hyderabad: 2 nabbed for bike theft, 17 bikes recovered

Hyderabad: The Amberpet police have arrested two individuals for bike lifting on Thursday night and recovered 17 bikes from their possession, worth about Rs 10 lakh.

According to the police, the accused, one Koushik and Mukhtar Ahmed, both residents of Bhavaninagar, were involved in several cases under Proddatur, Shamshabad and Rajiv Gandhi International airport police station limits. The duo were friends for a long time and were involved in many bike lifting cases in the city in the past few months. Based on credible information, Amberpet police apprehended the duo late on Thursday and took them into custody.
