Burglar siblings held, booty seized in Karimnagar

KARIMNAGAR: Karimnagar one town police arrested two brothers who were allegedly indulged in various house burglary cases and seized 5.2 tolas of gold and two costly mobile phones from their possession here on Monday.

The arrested duo was identified as Kuncham Ashok, 35, and Kuncham Ravi, 24, both residents of Vijayapuri Colony of Rekurthi Nagar of Karimnagar City.
Assistant Commissioner of Police T. Srinivas Rao said that Ashok started to commit house break-ins for easy money and to lead a luxurious life in Karimnagar city. ‘Inspired’ by him, his younger brother Ravi also started to commit similar offences.

Following complaints from victims, police registered a case and started the investigation by special teams led by circle inspector Ravi Kumar.

With the help of CCTV footage, the police traced the brothers who were roaming in Karimnagar, Yadadri, Hyderabad, Warangal and Peddapalli districts and seized Rs 5.4 lakh worth of booty from them.

ACP Srinivas Rao appreciated the investigation team.
