Andhra Pradesh: College official breaks inter student's hand

ANANTAPUR: A student suffered fracture on his hand after he was allegedly beaten up by an official of Narayana College at CK Dinne campus in Kadapa district.
The incident happened on Friday and came to light on Sunday after the hospital authorities alerted the student’s parents.
Sources said K. Trinethra, a senior intermediate student, suffered fracture after he was beaten up violently by a senior official of the college, in connection with differences that cropped up between juniors and seniors.
The victim went to a private hospital and doctors confirmed a fracture and alerted the parents, who rushed to the spot and lodged complaint against the college management.
