Newborn boy found in bin in Hyderabad
The baby was wrapped in polythene. He was shifted to a hospital.

Hyderabad: A newborn boy was found abandoned in a garbage bin in Somajiguda. The baby was wrapped in polythene. He was shifted to a hospital.
Panjagutta police said on Monday at around 11 am people heard the sound of a baby crying and found a newborn boy wrapped in polythene in a garbage bin in an open plot opposite the Blueberry Play School. “The child was just a few hours old. The umbilical cord was intact. We shifted him to Niloufer Hospital,” SI K. Gurunath said.
Police said that they are checking CCTV cameras in the surroundings and also the records of women who gave birth in the nearby hospitals. A case under Section 317 (abandonment of child) was registered by the police.
