Assam youth held for rape, murder
Ameer Chan was sent to remand, while the other two boys were sent to correctional home.
Hyderabad: A lead from the IMEI number of a mobile phone helped the city police solve a murder case. Malakpet police arrested a 19-year-old youth, Ameer Chan, from Assam and his juvenile friends, who raped and murdered their employer. The boys were working in the coir making unit owned by the victim.
According to the police, the deceased, a 38-year-old woman, a divorcee with one son, resided in Moosarambagh in a rented flat with her partner, a Delhi based businessman. On September 29, her neighbours informed her brother that she was dead.
Later, the police was alerted. Her decomposed body was found lying in a pool of blood.
The accused worked in the woman’s coir making unit in Chengicherla. The three suspects would visit her house to collect their wages and knew about her live-in relationship.
Primary interrogation re-vealed that the trio wanted to have a physical relationship with the woman. When they disclosed the plan to her, she scolded and threatened them. The trio held a grudge against the woman since then.
They had planned to have sex with her at knifepoint if she refused. As per their plan, they raped her and brutally killed her by slitting her throat. Ameer Chan was sent to remand, while the other two boys were sent to correctional home.
