Bengaluru: Four vehicle lifters held, 10 two-wheelers recovered
The accused, who had been jailed in vehicle theft cases, had come out recently.
Bengaluru: Kamakshipalya police arrested four people involved in vehicle thefts and recovered 10 two-wheelers worth Rs. 3.5 lakh from them.
The accused have been identified as Yogesh (22), a resident of Andhrahalli Main Road, Naveen, a resident of Herohalli, Kannan (19), a resident of Andhrahalli Main Road, and Shivaraj (19), a resident of Anjana Nagar.
The accused, who had been jailed in vehicle theft cases, had come out recently. The city police had arrested them for vehicle thefts in different police limits in Bengaluru and Mandya and recovered 32 two-wheelers worth Rs 20 lakh.
The moment they came out of jail, the gang went back to their old profession and lifted vehicles parked outside houses during night.
The police are investigating whether they were involved in other cases. With their arrest, the police claimed to have solved all the 10 cases of vehicle theft.
