PD Act enacted against job fraud racket kingpin in Hyderabad
Since 2017, the accused has been involved in as many as 12 offences of cheating, forgery and criminal breach of trust
Hyderabad: As part of an ongoing drive against the repeated offenders who have been duping several innocent job aspirants on the pretext of providing them government job in Railways, Postal departments, Commissioner of Police, Rachakonda invoked PD Act against one of the Inter-state job fraud racket member and detained her in Special Prison for women at Chanchalguda, Hyderabad.
The king-pin identified as Podala Shiva Ranjani, along with 3 others lured innocent job aspirants in the guise of providing them jobs in Railways, Postal and forest departments by collecting an amount at the rate of 6.5 lakhs from each un-employee. They even used to issue fake job offer letters, training letters to fool people.
Since 2017, the accused has been involved in as many as 12 offences of cheating, forgery and criminal breach of trust in the limits of LB Nagar, Malkajgiri, Nacharam, Neredmet, Chaitanyapuri, Saroornagar PSs of Rachakonda, Chilkalguda, SR Nagar, Tukaram Gate of Hyderabad City and other parts of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
