Hyderabad: 2 women held for stealing jewellery
Her friend who knows that they are stolen ornaments kept the booty with him.
Hyderabad: Two woman were arrested by the Banjara Hills police for theft and recovered 25 tola gold and 19 tola silver from them on Saturday.
The Banjara Hills police have identified the accused as B. Lakshmi, 30, K. Padma, 30 and one person named B. Bheem Rao, 23.
According to the Banjara Hills police, the accused, Lakshmi, used to work as a maid servant in the house of victim K. Kalyani and another accused worked in the victim’s mother-in-law’s house in the same apartment. R. Govinda Reddy, inspector of police Banjara Hills said, “Both the accused had easy access to all rooms in the apartment and Lakshmi hatched a plan to steal the gold ornament.”
Padma saw Lakshmi stealing and was given little gold by the latter to keep her mouth shut.
The accused padma gave her share of gold ornaments to her friend Bheem Rao for later disposal. Her friend who knows that they are stolen ornaments kept the booty with him.
Banjara hills police caught laksmi red handedly when she was leaving the city with the stolen booty. Upon questione she confessed to the crime and revealed about her accomplices. The Banjara hills arrested all the accused and recovered all the stolen objects.
