Man hires 'killers' to eliminate brother to claim railway job: Cops
The police have arrested the accused brother Krishna and one of the alleged contract killers, Vishnu Das, for the murder of Vishnu Prasad.
Mathura: A man allegedly had his brother murdered by "contract killers" to claim his job as a storekeeper in the Indian Railways on compensatory grounds, police said on Wednesday.
The police have arrested accused brother Krishna and one of the alleged contract killers, Vishnu Das, for the murder of Vishnu Prasad, who was a storekeeper with the railway station here, said GRP Circle Officer RK Gautam said.
"Prasad was murdered on December 6 by Das and one more person hired by Krishna, who had his brother killed to get his job. Krishna was made nominee for compensatory job by the victim," he said last evening.
Initially, Krishna had accused Prasad's in-laws of the murder. However, he confessed to the crime during interrogations and also gave information about Das, the CO said.
Police have also recovered Rs 10,800, that was paid to Das to kill the victim. Krishna had allegedly paid the contract killers Rs 25,000.
