Hyderabad: Police arrested a pharmacist who wore a burqa and robbed his former employer, a government doctor, in Indiranagar, and seized Rs.14 lakh cash from him. The accused,

Mohammed Ishaq, 27, had entered the house of Dr Shabbir Ahmed and fled with the cash kept in the bedroom. Ishaq had worked as a pharmacist for Dr Ahmed in 2021 and was familiar with the apartment topography, southwest additional DC Mohd Ashfaq said.

Duo Nabbed For Armed Robbery

Hyderabad: Bahadurpura police on Thursday arrested Mohammed Mubeen, 28, and Azam Khan for robbery in the tri-commissionerate area. Their associate  Khaja Zainulabedin had been arrested on January 1, south zone DCP P. Sai Chaitanya said. Zainulabedin was wanted for 10 cases and Mubeen for 30 cases of robbery, theft and attempt to murder and Azam in seven cases.

BE Drop-out Held For Robbery

Hyderabad: Miyapur police arrested a BE drop-out, Babbadi Abhilash, for 20 thefts and seized 26 tola gold 300 grams of silver, all worth Rs.16 lakh, from his possession.
