Hyderabad police arrest TRS man for sexual harassment

Hyderabad: The Kukatpally police arrested a 27-year-old TRS leader on Friday for sexually harassing a woman in her house. The suspect, M. Vishanth, is the SC Cell in charge of GHMC division 115.

Police said the victim had lost her husband and was living with her sons. On Thursday night, after dinner, her son went out and she fell asleep. Around 10 pm, Vishanth entered the house and sexually harassed her. The victim ran out of the house screaming. She rushed to her brother’s house and informed them. 

A case was registered on her complaint. He was arrested and remanded on Friday.

Police said he was earlier accused in a similar case and an attempt to murder case in Kukatpally police station limits.
