Cops deny identifying Bhaskar:

Hyderabad: At the time of the incident, locals alerted police through a Dial 100 police call centre and immediately the same was communicated to the PS. Subsequently, patrol vehicles rushed to the spot. It is alleged that after seeing the group, they identified Bhaskar and left the place. Police, however, denied the allegations.

According to sources, as soon as locals called the police helpline, a patrol team arrived at the spot in less than five minutes and saw the youngsters thrashing the victim black and blue. One of the cops interacted with the group and they left the place without taking any action.

Denying the allegations, senior police officials said that locals had called the police control and a team was also deputed to the place. However, when the patrol team arrived at the spot, the area was clear and there was nobody at the spot as well.
