Three youths killed in drunk driving mishap at Dundigal

They were driving an SUV (TS 08 HM 2457) in a drunken condition and crashed into a lorry (AP 16 TW 4577) parked around 2.50 am on Sunday

Hyderabad: Three youngsters were killed on the spot and a fourth sustained grave injuries in a drunken driving road mishap when the car they were driving crashed into a parked truck at Dundigal. The deceased, all 25 years old, were identified as Gajula Venkata Sai Charan, Puppala Ganesh, and Naraharisetti Sanjay.

The injured person was identified as 26-year-old Saladi Ashok.
Police inspector of Dundigal, P. Ramana Reddy, said that they were driving an SUV (TS 08 HM 2457) in a drunken condition. They crashed into a lorry (AP 16 TW 4577) that was parked around 2.50 am on Sunday.

“The accident happened near the Coca Cola factory road at Bowrampet. The lorry driver, Nimbu Lal had parked his vehicle without parking lights. However, there was enough space for the car to pass through. Sai Charan, who was at the wheel, rammed into the lorry head-on,” he said.

“We booked cases against both Sai Charan and Nimbu Lal and started a probe,” he added.
