Suspecting her fidelity man kills wife in Anakapalle

VISHAKHAPATNAM: A man killed his wife suspecting her fidelity at Chidika village under Nakkapalle police station limits in Anakapalle district on Friday night.

Police said Ch. Nagendra Varma saw his 27-year-old wife Rajya Lakshmi chatting with a man over phone on Friday night. This led to a quarrel between the two after which he picked up a kitchen knife and attacked her.

Rajya Lakshmi suffered injuries on her neck and head. Hearing her cries, neighbours rushed to save her. But before they could intervene, she had already died.

Varma surrendered before the police and alleged that his wife had been having an affair with someone.
