1 more held for Hindu Munnani functionary's murder in Kovai

Coimbatore: The CB-CID police arrested one more accused in the case related to the murder of the Hindu Munnani (HM) spokesperson C Sasikumar, who was hacked to death by a four men gang close to midnight last year.

While the police had picked up 25-year-old Saddam Hussain from Coimbatore three months ago, police launched a search for the remaining three accused who were on run.
Meanwhile, on Wednesday evening the special team police followed the wife of 33-year-old Zubair and arrested him from Kinathukadavu - Mullupadi railway gate. Zubair, one of the remaining three accused, a resident of GM Nagar in South Ukkadam was hiding in his mother-in-law’s house in Kerala near Palakkad.
