TS Cops Seize Cash and Contraband in Crackdown

Hyderabad: Police continued cracking down on transportation of unaccounted money all over the city and seized a huge amount of cash on Thursday. The money was not supported by documents.

Under the Rachakonda commissionerate, police seized Rs 33.5 lakh cash at Chaitanyapuri and Rs 13 lakh at Narapally under Medipally police limits.

In the city, police found  Rs 5 lakh cash being transported in a vehicle at Abids; at Chaderghat  Rs 2.76 lakh cash and at SR Nagar,  Rs 4.8 lakh cash.

At Miyapur, Cyberabad police seized gold jewellery weighing 448.96 grams which two persons were carrying without valid documents.

Excise police seized 61 kg of ganja being transported in Konark Express and arrested four persons.
