Tirupati: Hostel supervisor held for raping girl
The rape survivor, in her complaint said the accused threatened to kill her and beat her up if she did not cooperate.

Tirupati: Tirupati East division police on Monday arrested a superintendent of a state-run care home on charges of allegedly raping a minor girl for four years.
“B. Nanda Gopal has been booked under relevant Sections of the IPC, as well as the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, and was remanded for 14 days on Monday,” police said.
The rape survivor, in her complaint said the accused threatened to kill her and beat her up if she did not cooperate.
He was also accused of sexually abusing other girls at the care home and give them pills to avoid pregnancy.
The inhuman act of Nanda Gopal came to light after the girl was recently shifted from Tirupati to another home in Kadapa on October 27.
