Hyderabad: Decomposed body of infant found

Hyderabad: A decomposed dead body of an infant boy was found by locals near Tank Bund opposite to Secretariat on Tuesday evening. 

“The locals of the area found the body on Tuesday evening around 4.30pm, which was wrapped in a plastic and seemed two to three days old” said the police inspector of Lake Police, Dhana Lakshmi. 

Based on a complaint, police lodged a case under section 174 (suspicious death) of CrPC (code of criminal procedure) and 318 (Concealment of birth by secret disposal of dead body) of  the IPC and an investigation was started into the matter.
