Uppal Police Arrest Habitual Offender in 25 Two-Wheeler Theft Case

HYDERABAD: Uppal police arrested 31-year-old Rayudu Chaithanya Sai Kumar for 25 cases of two-wheeler theft and recovered 23 bikes, fake registration cards and other material from his possession.

Uppal detective sub-inspector Koteshwara Rao along with his crime staff intercepted the accused, verified his identity in police records and found that he was a habitual offender.

During questioning, he confessed to stealing two-wheelers from Metro Rail stations and other public places, changing their registration plates and selling them. 

Chaithanya, employed in a private employee, belonged to Kothagudem and had committed vehicle thefts in Uppal, Gopalapuram, SR Nagar, Khammam district, Kothagudem, Vijayawada.
