Anantapur: Two kill man over loan, given life

Anantapur: Hindupur second additional district judge on Wednesday sentenced life term imprisonment to two persons for killing a person to evade repayment of loan at Pamudurthi in Kotha-cheruvu police limits in the district.

Sources said E. Krishna of Gasikavari Palli in Bukkapatnam mandal had taken Rs 70,000 loan from  M. Narasimhulu of the same village.

When Mr Narasimhulu demanded his money back, Mr Krishna planned to eliminate him to evade repaying the loan.

Krishna approached his friend Ganesh from Thippepalli in Kamba-duru mandal and hatc-hed the plan to kill him.

When Narasimhulu and his wife Shivamma were rearing sheep at Pamadurthi village on March 17, 2016 Krishna and his friend attacked them with hunting sickles and hacked both wife and husband.

Narasimhulu died at Dharmavaram hospital while his wife suffered serious injuries but survived. Police registered a case against Krishna and Ganesh based on a complaint by Shivamma and others.

The Hindupur ADJ court judge S. Prasand pronounced life term imprisonment for both Krishna and Ganesh along with Rs.2500 penalty.
