Bengaluru: 11-year-old boy electrocuted on house terrace
The boy, K. Advaith, who was studying in fifth standard, was the only son of K. Ravindranath, a senior manager in a private company.
BENGALURU: An 11-year-old boy was electrocuted when he came in contact with a live wire while playing on the terrace of his house in Anekal on Wednesday.
The boy, K. Advaith, who was studying in fifth standard, was the only son of K. Ravindranath, a senior manager in a private company. The family lives in a three-storeyed house and Advaith went up to play on the terrace around 6 pm after coming back from school.
He found a length of binding wire at the corner of the terrace. He tried to avoid it, but accidentally came in contact with a live wire close that runs to his house. He was immediately thrown away.
His friends, who were with him, raised an alarm and his parents rushed him to Narayana Hospital, where the doctors declared him brought dead.
