Hyderabad: A 15-year-old girl and her two-month-old child were kidnapped by her ex-lover and his goons from SR Nagar on Saturday. The victim had given birth to a girl after she eloped with a cab driver named P. Satish.

Later, due to his infidelity, she came back to her parents’ house and filed a complaint against Satish. But, Satish came to her house with some goons, attacked her kin and forcibly took her and the infant away.  The SR Nagar police arrested two of the eight suspects who attacked the girl’s family and seized a cab.

The girl’s father alleged that police ignored their complaint and did not arrest Satish. He claimed that the kidnap would not have taken place if the police had arrested him.

The victim’s family said the girl went missing in February 2015 and they approached the police. But, she came back to her parents’ house in October with an infant. She said that she became pregnant after living with Satish, but had left him as he was going around with another girl.

After her testimony, police booked a case against Satish for rape and kidnap, but did not arrest him. On Saturday night, Satish and some others attacked the girl’s house. When the girl’s brother tried to stop them he was beaten black and blue by the goons.

The girl’s father alleged that the police could have arrested the accused after the complaint was filed, but they did not. He alleged that his daughter was kidnapped, raped and impregnated by Satish, according to an FIR registered in SR Nagar police station.

“The police delayed the case. Now Satish attacked us and abducted our daughter," he said. Meanwhile, SR Nagar inspector Md. Waheeduddin said they were tracking the phone of the suspect and are about to arrest him. “We have deployed teams to arrest him,” he said.
