This resulted in a property loss of Rs 15 to 20 lakh. A similar accident was reported from a residential apartment in Kukatpally, where furniture went up in flames.

A massive fire broke out due to wrong placing of diyas at a slippers’ godown under Mir Chowk police station limits.

Fire from wrongly placed lamps at a bookshop in Medipally also spread to an adjacent tailor shop.

In MadhuranNagar, a godown caught fire because crackers were burst without adequate precautions.
