Fire Victim Hadn't Named Baby
Hyderabad: Among the victims of Monday's deadly mishap at Bazarghat was Hasibur Rehman, the father of a 43-day-old girl who is yet to be named.
Rehman had married around 18 months ago and the couple had their their first child on October 2. His wife and daughter were at her maternal home.
Rehman also working in the Gulf, but returned home to take care of his elderly parents, their relative Mohd Akbar told Deccan Chronicle.
“He had spent a little time with his parents and had seen his first child only a couple of times,” said Mohd Akram, elder brother of Mohd Azam. Rehman is Azam’s elder son. Along with Rehman, Azam, his wife, his two daughters and two granddaughters also died in the mishap.
Rehman died along with his parents Mohd Azam and Rehana Sultana, sisters Ahura Farheen and Faiza Sameena. His nieces Taroba and Manha were among the victims. His brother Mohd Anas, now in Saudi Arabia, will be returning home for the funeral.
Mohd Basith, Rehana Sultana’s younger brother, met her and the family on Sunday night. “It was a casual visit. She insisted that I have food and leave. I could not,” he said.
Amaar, the son of Mohd Jakeer Hussain and Nikat Sulthana, who died on Monday, is in the US and will be returning home.
The mishap claimed the lives of the wife of Mohd Mukram Ali, a businessman, and two daughters, while his teen son Tahla is battling for life at the Osmania Hospital. Dr Ali who stays at Asifnagar with his family, dropped his family at his in-laws Mohd Azam and Rehana Sultana’s house at Bazarghat for the Diwali vacation.
Dr Ali was running between the mortuary where the PME was conducted and the burns ward where his son Talha was being treated.
