Woman Succumbs to Injuries After Epileptic Seizure at Home

Kurnool: A 32-year-old woman, S. Sarala, died at the Proddutur government hospital on Tuesday after suffering severe burns in a mishap at her home in Sanjamala mandal.

Sarala, wife of Suresh, was carrying hot water for bathing when she experienced an epileptic seizure. This caused her to lose balance and fall, spilling the scalding water over herself and inflicting serious burns.

Her family rushed her to the Proddutur government hospital for immediate medical attention. Despite the dedicated efforts of the medical team, Sarala succumbed to her injuries during treatment.

Sub-inspector Pratap confirmed her death, stating that the burns proved too severe for her to recover.
