3 dupe students by providing jobs, held
As many as 60 unemployed youth paid Rs 2 lakh each in the hope of getting a job.
Hyderabad: The Special Operation Team busted a software job racket on Thursday and nabbed three persons, who collected Rs 1.2 crore from unemployed youth promising to provide jobs in MNCs.
Puskuri Rajesh, Nallamothu Kishore Babu, Katikithala Anush Chaitanya floated two fake companies in April, named Arkon Technologies in Somajiguda and Propel Technologies in Madhapur.
They publicised the sham company among the unemployed with computer degree and promised jobs in reputed MNCs like Wipro, TCS and Tech Mahindra. As many as 60 unemployed youth paid Rs 2 lakh each in the hope of getting a job.
After collecting the amount. they neither provided work nor paid them salary. On being inquired about the job offer, the accused said that the project work was yet to be approved by the MNCs.
The officials recovered laptops, job agreements, offer letters, debit cards and cheque books from the accused.
