Hyderabad: A retired Singareni employee was found dead at his residence in Medipally. The police suspects financial issues to have caused the sexagenarian to end his life.
According to Medi-pally police, C. Malles-han, 65, a Singareni Collieries pensioner, had been living in Supra-bhath township, Kacha-vani Singaram village, with his wife and son C. Vamshi, manager at a petrol pump in Aushapur.
On Saturday, Malles-han and family went attending a wedding after which Vamshi dropped his parents home and headed to his friend’s house in Amb-erpet to stay overnight.
At about 6 am on Sunday, Vamshi’s mother called him and said his father wasn't opening his bedroom door.
Vamshi rushed home, peeped through his father's bedroom window and found him hanging from the ceiling, the police said.
Vamshi in his complaint stated they were facing financial issues which had caused his father to feel depressed. Based on the complaint, a case was registered under IPC Section 174.
