Her husband B. Satyanarayana works in a pharma company at Pydi Bheemavaram of Srikakulam district. He told the police that he found them dead in Nukalamma temple when he came on Sunday.

According to a Pendurthi police official, the woman might have taken the extreme step out of frustration as her two children were speech and hearing challenged. Their financial condition was bad.
