Hyderabad: 18-year-old girl commits suicide
The victim was alone in her room when she killed herself by hanging to the ceiling.
Hyderabad: An 18-year-old intermediate student committed suicide by hanging in her hostel at KPHB Colony after she was caught using her mobile phone in college under KPHB police station limits on Saturday late night.
G. Murali Kumar, KPHB Colony SI said, “The victim was caught using her mobile phone in CMS college, where she was studying. Fearing that the college would inform her parents, she committed suicide by hanging. We are waiting for her parents who stay in Karimnagar.”
The victim was alone in her room when she killed herself by hanging to the ceiling.
When her roomate knocked the door there was no response.
When she peeped through the window she found the victim hanging.
With the help of other hostel mates she broke open the door. The hostel warden informed the police about the incident and the police registered a case under Section 174 CrPC. Her body was later shifted to Gandhi Hospital for post-mortem.
