Makloor MPTC kidnapped

Nizamabad: Family members of Meerabai, Makloor mandal parishad territorial constituency (MPTC)-2 member, alleged that she had been kidnapped by mandal praja parishad president Narayana and his associates on December 10. They alleged that the kidnap comes against the backdrop of the no-confidence motion against the Makloor mandal leadership.

Narayana, Meerabai’s husband, said: "We have filed a complaint in Makloor police station, but no action has been taken so far’, he said.  He approached police commissioner Kalmeshwar Singanevar’s office in Nizamabad on Friday and urged the police to trace Meerabai immediately.
