Courier boy stabbed to death in Bengaluru

Bengaluru: A 23-year-old courier delivery boy was fatally stabbed, while his friend, a rowdy, sustained injuries when a gang of miscreants attacked them in Saraswathipura in Nandini Layout police station limits on Saturday evening.

The deceased has been identified as Pradeep alias Manja, a resident of Saraswathipura, who was working in a post office. His friend Venkatesh, a rowdy sheeter of Mahalakshmi Layout police station, was also stabbed and is undergoing treatment at a hospital.

According to the police, as part of Sankranthi local residents had organised 'kicchu haisodu', in which cattle are made to jump over bonfires.
