New Delhi: A man from Bhagalpur in Bihar who was believed to be dead by his family for the last four months was spotted eating momos in Noida by his brother-in-law, who was accused of kidnapping him.

On January 31, 2023, Nishant Kumar mysteriously went missing and his father Sachidanand Singh lodged a missing complaint at the Sultangunj police station, pointing a finger of suspicion towards Kumar's brother-in-law Ravi Shankar Singh and his father-in-law Naveen Singh. He suspected that the duo kidnapped Nishant.

At a momo shop in Noida, Ravi saw a shopkeeper berating a man with long unkempt beard and soiled clothes. He urged the shopkeeper to offer momos to the man, only to realise later that he was Nishant.

Then he took Nishant to a police station and then he was handed over to the Bihar police. A day later, Nishant was presented before a court.

Police are investigating the case to know if the man was kidnapped and how he reached Delhi.

Meanwhile, Ravi Shankar said that he and his family were harassed by Nishant’s family and hoped justice would be done to him and his family.
