Hyderabad: Techie, recently married, killed in road mishap

Police booked the RTC bus driver under relevant Sections of IPC and started an investigation.

A total of 672 pedestrians perished in road accidents in the first nine months of this year.

Hyderabad: A 25-year-old techie was killed in a road mishap on Wednesday at Road No 10 at Banjara Hills. The victim was identified as Sirisha, a software employee from the city. According to the police, the mishap occurred when the RTC bus, driven in a rash and negligent manner hit Sirisha as she was crossing the road, following which, she suffered grievous injuries and died on the spot. 

Sirisha recently got married and was a resident of  Khairatabad. The accident is said to have taken place due to a free-left at the junction due to which the drivers drive buses at high speed in the heavily crowded junction near the Pension office area. Police booked the RTC bus driver under relevant Sections of IPC and started an investigation.
