Hyderabad: Man arrested for attacking elderly couple

Hyderabad: A 32-year-old man was arrested for attempting to murder a couple following a tiff over grazing sheep in Abdullapurmet.  

The accused was identified as Shaik Nayeem, 32, a driver from Gunthapally. The arrest was made following a complaint from the victims, Puligilla Ilaiah and his wife Puligilla Nirmala. 

“The couple used to take their sheep for grazing and Nayeem picked up a quarrel with them and abused them,” said the DCP, LB Nagar, M. Venkateshwar Rao. 

However, on Tuesday, Ilaiah was attacked. When his wife came to rescue, she was also attacked.
