Man Gets 25 yr RI for Daughter's Rape
Hyderabad: T. Anitha, Special Sessions Judge, Nampally, sentenced a man to 25 years rigorous imprisonment and Rs.5 lakh fine for raping his 11-year-old daughter on December 12, 2022. The court awarded the victim Rs.5 lakh. The convict is not being named to protect the identity of the victim.
Police said his wife and their other daughter were away when the incident occurred. The victim narrated the incident to her mother who approached the police. Chandrayangutta inspector K.N. Prasad Varma arrested the accused.
Man sent to life in jail for murder:
The Bhongir Additional District Session Court sentenced 38-year-old Danaboina Parsuramulu to life imprisonment and a fine of Rs.11,000 for the murder of one Kantireddy Srinivas Reddy in June 2020 in Golanukonda, Alair, over a property dispute. Parasuramulu was arrested based on the victim's dying declaration, said Alair inspector G. Venkat Sreenu.
Man held for robbing prospective bride:
Monda Market police arrested Tumma Mohan Reddy, 38, for robbing a woman after promising her marriage and seized 27 tola ornaments. He had met the girl through a matrimonial site and invited her to a meeting at a hotel. When she went to the washroom Mohan Reddy fled with her bag containing the gold.
