Hyderabad: Man hurt as school bus rams into bike
The two-wheeler rider who was on his way to office suffered fractures to his leg and jaw.
Hyderabad: A speeding school bus belonging to Ramadevi Public School rammed into a bike at Amber Hotel near Pedda Amberpet.
The two-wheeler rider who was on his way to office suffered fractures to his leg and jaw and is undergoing treatment, said Abdullapurmet police.
According to Abdullapurmet inspector M. Muni on Saturday night, G. Rangaiah, 59, a labourer from Lashkarguda, lodged a complaint that his younger son G. Anil Kumar, 29, was hit by a school bus while driving a bike.
When he reached Amber hotel located near Peddamberpet Outer Ring Road, a bus (AP07 W 3926) belonging to Ramadevi Public School rammed into his bike from the rear. The inspector said that Anil fell on the road and received fractures on his left leg and jaw, besides other minor injuries. He was rushed to Sai Sanjeevani Hospital at Kothapet for treatment in an ambulance.
A passerby called Mr Rangaiah who later lodged a complaint seeking action against the bus driver. A case has been registered under section 337 of the IPC and police took the driver into custody, said the inspector.
