Man kills lover and ends life in Kurnool

Kurnool: Vijaykumar, a 35-year-old accountant, allegedly ended his own life after taking the life of Ruksana, a 45-year-old woman with whom he was reportedly having an extramarital affair.

Their story, shrouded in secrecy and fueled by whispers of family disputes and forbidden romance, has left the community in shock. Vijaykumar, a resident of a Nandikotkur housing colony, and Ruksana, who lived nearby, had been involved in a relationship that sparked discontent within Ruksana's family.

On Friday, the couple rented a room in a Kurnool lodge, seeking a temporary refuge from the complexities of their situation. But their escape proved to be a fatal one. The following morning, concerned lodge staff found the room door locked and were forced to enter. Inside, they discovered a scene of unimaginable horror: Ruksana and Vijaykumar lay lifeless in a pool of blood, their bodies bearing the brutal marks of violence.

Ruksana's wounds, suspected to be inflicted by Vijaykumar before he took his own life, paint a grim picture of a desperate struggle. The Kurnool third town police, led by circle inspector Muralidhar Reddy, have registered a case and initiated a thorough investigation to unravel the events leading up to this tragic double loss.
