BIS raids two firms for misusing ISI'

The team found the firm was using the ISI mark for its brand Royal Spring' without permission.

Another team raided Salasar Beekay Steel Industries and found that it had no permission to use the ISI mark on its products.

Hyderabad: The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) raided on illegal water purification plant and a steel unit on Thursday for misusing the ISI mark. BIS director M.V.S.D. Prasada Rao said a team raided Dhanasree Enterprises, a packaged drinking water unit at Nagaram. The team found the firm was using the ISI mark for its brand ‘Royal Spring’ without permission. Another team raided Salasar Beekay Steel Industries and found that it had no permission to use the ISI mark on its products.
