Hyderabad: Techie ends her life at home

Hyderabad: A 32-year-old techie committed suicide in KPHB on Saturday. Police said that Muttavarapu Nagaviyasri Anjani rushed to the kitchen to set herself ablaze while talking to her parents and in-laws, but was rescued. Later, she went to the bedroom and hanged herself. Police said Vasanth Kumar, 34, a resident of Medchal, and Anjani, hailing from Tenali, got married around 10 years ago and has a seven-year-old son.

One-and-a-half-years ago Vasanth went to the US to work. Knowing that the couple were having trouble their parents came to their house. Around 2 am she rushed into the kitchen to commit suicide but her parents and in-laws rescued her. “Later, she ran into the bedroom and hanged herself. Parents rushed her to hospital where she was declared dead,” inspector Kushalkar said.
