Hyderabad: Two held for cheating with fake job vows

Hyderabad: The commissioner’s task force, East Zone team of Hyderabad, apprehended two persons for running an illegal manpower consultancy and sending the aspirants to Saudi Arabia on work visa via Dubai and collecting huge amounts illegally.
Officials seized three passports and other documents from their possession. The arrested were identified as P. Raju, 46, of Vayupuri in Neredmet, and Mohd Shoukath Ali, 40, of Yakutpura.
The absconding suspects were identified as Mohd Abdul Quddus alias Habeeb, Naser and Saleem. “Raju, Shoukath Ali, Habeeb and Naser are friends. Raju is running the illegal manpower consultancy with three agents, Shoukath, Habeeb and Naser for the past two years. He had tied up with one Saleem, owner of Golden Enterprises, Mumbai. They used to collect Rs 90,000 to Rs 1.2 lakh, passports and other documents from the aspirants. They sent them illegally via Dubai,” said the deputy commissioner of police, commissioner’s task force, B. Limba Reddy.
“In February, they sent Venkatamma of Saidabad to Saudi Arabia on work visa but till now her whereabouts are not known to even her family members,” added the DCP.
