Drug peddler from Goa arrested in Habsiguda

Hyderabad: Sleuths from Hyderabad Narcotic Enforcement Wing (H-NEW) and Osmania University police on Wednesday arrested an inter-state drug peddler from Goa and seized 20 ecstasy pills, five LSD blots, four grams of MDMA and other property worth `1lakh from his possession.

The peddler Priteesh Narayan (Khali) was caught while he was waiting to deliver the drugs to a customer in Habsiguda. During interrogation, he said that he and his associate Manzoor Ahmed had been selling drugs in Goa for the past eight years.

They procured drugs  in bulk from prime accused Thukaram Salgovkar and his gang and sold them in Goa, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh,  said Sneha Mehra, additional DCP. She said that 166 of their 600 ‘customers’ have been identified.
