Search on for woman in Musi River

Hyderabad: Passersby on the Salar Jung bridge reported to the police that an unidentified woman had attempted suicide in the Musi river, triggering a search for her in the river by the police and Disaster Relief Force personnel.

According to police, locals reported seeing the woman shouting for help in the river. It was reported that she had jumped from the bridge. Some of them tried to rescue her, but in vain. Afzalgunj police said the search was on. The woman’s identity was yet to be ascertained.
