Four BJYM activists remanded for obstructing Telangana CM's convoy
Hyderabad: Four BJYM activists were remanded for misbehaving with two women constables and obstructing Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao’s convoy at Amanagal when he was proceeding to launch the Rangareddy pump house in Palamuru on Sunday.
Amanagal police immediately arrested and remanded Oggu Prabhakar, Sampangi Balakrishna, Varsu Srikanth and Avunuri Srihari for misbehaving with the women constables on bandobast duty.
The BJYM activists came onto the road, carrying flags and raising slogans around 1.30 pm. Apart from injuring women constables, they also tried to block the CM’s convoy. A case has been registered under Sec 341,332,353,188 r/w 34 IPC, Sec 7(1) Criminal law abatement Act 1932, said Amangal SI K. Balram.
