Telangana: Rs 50,000 reward for clues on offender
Eight women fell victim to him at the Kukatpally Housing Board Colony, five in Miyapur and one in the Chandanagar area.
Hyderabad: Dundigal police has offered a cash reward of Rs 50,000 for clues on an offender involved in 20 chain-snatching cases in KHPB, Chandanagar and Miyapur areas. According to Mr N. Bhujanga Rao, assistant commissioner of police, Kukatpally, the offender, suspected to be an Irani gang member, has snatched gold chains weighing 500 grams from women. “The thug targets women at temples, schools and parks between 5 pm and 9 pm. Our team is making efforts to nab him. As part of it, we have announced a cash award,” Mr Rao said.

The police has released the image of the suspect. He is reported to be in his mid-twenties and rides a Bajaj Discover bike.
