Man, woman hit by train while crossing tracks

The railway police officials said that the victims are suspected to be daily wage labourers.

Hyderabad: A man and a woman, who are yet to be identified, were killed on the spot after being hit by a train at the Malakpet railway station late on Sunday night.

The railway police officials said that the victims are suspected to be daily wage labourers.

“They seem to have been crossing the railway tracks when a train hit them from behind, killing them on the spot. They died following grievous bleeding injuries,” officials from the railway police said, adding that a case has been booked and efforts are on to identify them.
