Man's throat slit over cattle grazing in Uttar Pradesh

The accused Ghulam Mohammad is absconding and efforts are on to arrest him.

Lucknow: A middle aged man was seriously injured after his throat was slit by another person following a heated argument between them over cattle grazing in Shamli district.

The incident took place after an argument between one Ghulam Mohammad and Man Singh after which the former slit the latter’s throat. Niraj Kumar, SHO of Thana Bhawan police station said that Man Singh has been admitted to a medical facility where his condition is critical.

Tension has also been prevailing in the area following the incident and security has been increased. Additional forces have also been kept on the standby. The accused Ghulam Mohammad is absconding and efforts are on to arrest him.
